THAT the proposed Development Cost Charges (DCC) rates
be endorsed as outlined in the report dated March 8, 2019
from the Engineering and Operations Department –
Engineering Division regarding Proposed DCC Bylaw –
Revised Rates;
AND THAT staff be directed to hold an Open House to
communicate the changes in DCC rates to the development
community, Urban Development Institute, Greater Vancouver
Home Builders’ Association, and the general public;
AND THAT a tentative implementation date for Bylaw
No. 3054 be set at September 3, 2019;
AND THAT the additional funding request of $43,000 to
complete the DCC Bylaw Update project be forwarded to the
Finance Committee for identification of funding sources.
