divesting the City’s investment portfolio and severing the
City’s financial dealings with banks supporting the fossil
fuel sector as recommended in the report dated
March 1, 2018 from Councillor Rob Vagramov regarding A
Call To Divestment – Aligning City Investments With The
Future;
AND THAT The City formally request that the Municipal
Finance Authority of BC (1) divest all investments from the
fossil fuel sector, and/or (2) create a separate “divested”
fund for municipalities wishing to divest;
