to the Rocky Point Park parking lot;
(b) relocation of the pedestrian crossing infrastructure
from the eastern entrance of the parking lot to the
western end/Moody overpass;
(c) reprogramming of the pedestrian signal to provide
delays for vehicles to move through;
(d) signalized control at the Moody Roundabout/Murray
Street intersection; and
(e) addition of a ‘Yield to oncoming left turn’ sign on
Murray Street westbound at the Moody Street
intersection;
AND THAT staff report back on the planned implementation
of these measures currently contemplated in the Master
Transportation Plan and associated budget;
AND THAT the timeline be based on implementation as
soon as possible to be active for July 2018.

Momentum On Green Jobs and Climate Action
Through Energy Retrofits Across Canada;
AND THAT BC Hydro be called upon to establish and
administer a financial incentive program to further
encourage homeowners to participate in energy
retrofit programs;
AND THAT individual letters from the Mayor’s Office be
sent on behalf of the City to the Premier of
British Columbia, BC Minister of Finance,
BC Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and our local
Member of the Legislative Assembly, requesting that the
Province of British Columbia allow municipalities to
implement an LIC-based incentive program for home
energy retrofits, with the report dated May 10, 2018 from
