THAT Council send a letter to the Province indicating that the
City of Port Moody supports the Pesticide Use application for
application in 2013 provided that:
1. it is considered to be a last resort option and will be used
as part of an integrated pesticide management approach
that continues to prioritize non-chemical means; and that
2. no application be made to Burrard Inlet waters in
subsequent years without prior consultation with the
City of Port Moody and community groups at which time,
results of the efficacy of the 2013 program be provided.
